The aim of Horizons is to provide social opportunities alongside meaningful rewarding activities, that includes community involvement, and work placements.

Everyone who takes part in Day Opportunities can get involved in planning and deciding the how, when and where of what they’ll be doing. We focus on the opportunity side of things, and how the life of each person can be enriched when they work with others and play a bigger part in the world around them.

Horizon’s is also renowned for successfully supporting people who find it difficult to access mainstream services due to complex behaviours. Since 1998 we have gained an excellent reputation for providing outcome- based activities, and recognise the importance of having our own facilities and buildings, aswell as community based activities.

We are an “Investors In People” company who employ a high ratio of highly trained, competent and dedicated staff. As a result of our excellent community support program many service users have been supported to access mainstream activities, including education and employment.
